How to allocate your 5x1000

With the 5x1000 contribution, you personally decide to whom to allocate part of your taxes in your tax return. You can choose to support universities, non-profit entities and social organisations with a simple signature and at no extra cost to you.

Donating is easy

Simply sign in the 'Finanziamento della ricerca scientifica e dell'Università’ (Financing Scientific Research and University) section of your tax return and enter the University of Bologna's tax code: 80007010376. Alternatively, inform your accountant or trusted tax assistance centre (CAF).

How much is your contribution worth

Here are some of the things we have been able to achieve to date with the funds received:

  • Health: AF 2022 – funding for the Psychological Support Service (SAP) for young adults, a doctoral scholarship on the topic of 'Recovery College,' and five research grants in the field of mental health and psychological support
  • Climate change: AF 2021 – funding for 5 Alma CaRes projects dedicated to interventions in areas affected by the 2022 flood
  • Sustainability: AF 2020 – 15 research grants on sustainability topics under the Alma Idea 'B2' call for proposals
  • Research: AF 2019 – award of 2 doctoral scholarships on the topic of 'One Health' and 10 research grants focused on the medical sector
  • Education: AF 2018 – award of 450 scholarships to support the education of deserving students
