What you can sponsor
Sponsorships may relate to initiatives, projects, activities and events. In particular:
- Cultural and social events
- Execution of works or acquisition of products and services
- Services offered by the university to the university or city community
What types of sponsorships are available
Your company can support the University of Bologna through various sponsorship arrangements:
- Financial contributions
- Technical sponsorships, i.e. the execution of works, the supply of products or the provision of services to the University
- Creation of merchandising products with the University’s logo
Excluded are sponsorship proposals related in any way to:
- advertising of products that are detrimental to the environment, dignity or health, or in any case not in keeping with the places
where university activities are carried out;
- propaganda of a political, trade union or religious nature;
- messages that are offensive or detrimental to people's dignity.
What the sponsorship contract entails
To enter into a contract, the sponsorship must comply with certain principles. In particular it should:
- comply with institutional purposes and the pursuit of the University’s public interests
- exclude conflicts of interest between public and private activities
- enable the achievement of cost savings and/or new revenues for the University.
Contracts with an exclusive right of publicity for a specific sponsored initiative do not apply to all the other initiatives of the
University and do not imply the acquisition of the publicity rights of the University where the initiative takes place.

For sponsorships exceeding 40,000 € (taxable), the University publishes a
sponsorship call on its website for at least 30 days.
